EHIC Spain started with a simple problem: a founder living in Spain who found the process of applying for the Tarjeta Sanitaria Europea (European Health Insurance Card) unnecessarily complicated.

Navigating the Spanish Social Security website, figuring out the right forms, and understanding the requirements was a maze of confusing instructions and dead ends. It seemed like a task that should be simple was designed to be stressful.
